Tell us about yourself
I have been following the progress of the renewable energy for two years now. I left lovely Montreal for San Francisco to get to business. I'm obsessed with solar energy, new markets, and the electric car. Obama needs me.
Why do you support renewable energy?
I'm helping people learn how to work with and install solar panels and gain access to the green economy by helping to develop green collar jobs!! Boots On The Roof is the premiere solar training center in America. Check us out at Bootsontheroof.com and mention that Jamie sent you!

I'm an Ecopolitical blogger. By learning and sharing knowledge, enhancing general accessibility to progressive business ideas, thoughts on environmental challenges and solutions through the policies and regulations backing development, I'm keeping track of the developments in the solar industry.

I'm helping individuals gain access to green collar jobs! We're teaching solar installation to licensed contractrs, electricians and other improvement professionals interested in learning how to take solar tools and put them to use.

please read the DSIRE website you sent me about "Federal Grants for Renewable Energy" is specifically says:

Applicable Sectors: Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural

NOT homeowners or individuals.

Jamie,

how ironic, I saw that website earlier this morning, they got their facts wrong, misleading consumers. I have confirmed that only corporations NOT individuals can take the 30% federal grant. Too many people trying to be solar experts out there on the internet, causing mad confusion.

It was great catching up today. After our call, I was talking to Pranay, a community member who is considering to join Boots on the Roof for some solar education. He's relocating to San Jose and about to start a career in Solar Energy and needs to complete his NABCEP entry level designation. You should connect with him over the network, I think you can help each other.

Jamie, I'm staying busy, which is a good thing I suppose, since that means I'm helping even more people get started with renewable energy. Glad to hear things are going better than expected for you up north. I went to an awesome electric car parade in Santa Monica a couple weekends ago. check out the pics on my page!
